The Florida Department of Transportation’s (DOT) latest plan to extend toll roads in Florida bypasses Marion and Alachua counties, after a previous plan for one of the roads had it cutting across hundreds of acres of wetlands and farms. Residents and environmentalists are much happier with this revised proposal.
