Gaylord Merlin was recognized as a 2016 Sustaining Law Firm of Bay Area Legal Services (BALS), a nonprofit, public interest law firm that provides civil legal assistance to low-income residents in the Tampa Bay area. Lawyers of Gaylord Merlin collectively contributed funds to assist the organization in continuing to provide legal services and advocate on behalf of those most in need including seniors, veterans, victims of domestic violence, and children in foster care. Last year, BALS helped and educated more than 19,000 individuals, families, and community groups in Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas and Sarasota Counties.
