Gandy Fast Lane Project Approved for $230 Million

The Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority approved a bill on Monday for a $230 million design-build contract to develop a “fast lane” which will connect Dale Mabry and the Gandy Boulevard.  The lane will be a two-mile toll road and construction is expected to begin early next year.  The extension is scheduled to open in late 2020.
